Do you get what I mean, given the quote that I placed to assist this blog post. I am going to assume that you do. But, if you do not get me allow me to explain. I am not saying this because I want to be a college student forever, live with my parents and have no INDEPENDENCE. I am saying this because I am not looking forward to a life where I work unfulfilling jobs. I want a career and I’m sure you do too. Not only one that excels financially but also gives plenty of wealth and nourishment to your personal and mental state of being.
This all starts with you knowing what you want to do and for many people of all ages they have not one clue. I mean if you really think about you do know. Think back to when you were younger and you used to tell people what you wanted to be; that is usually subconsciously what you still want to do. Whether it was a teacher, ballerina, astronaut or a dragon slayer. There is a way to accomplish all of these dream jobs, even the dragon slayer. It all comes down to you doing some critical thinking and DIGGING DEEP as to why this career was your ideal choice back then. Once you figure that out you can combine that knowledge with your passions and skills to form your perfect job.
Let’s break down the dragon slayer for example. You might have wanted to be a DRAGON SLAYER because you thought dragons were mean and bad or you thought that they destroyed things. Now to alter this into something that could be a job for this century and more realistic. The dragon could be a symbol for criminals in the mean and bad scenario, or even something that harms the environment like pollutants in the second scenario. You could even look at the dragon as a disease and you are searching for a cure. Do you see what I did there? The more imaginative your dream job was as a kid the more possibilities it could come to in this process. Once you add in the passions and skills it will build up the perfect job and honestly once you find that out you should do it. I truly believe that it will make you fell even more accomplished with your job.
I know for me personally I am all over the place with what I want to do and that was exactly how I was as a kid. My dream job was to be a singer that acted and designed her own clothes. I was trying to be a total 3 in 1. I basically still am today but in a whole different aspect. The underlying meaning of this post is TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND LOVE WHAT YOU DO and to always keep the younger you alive. ❤
I completely agree with this, he is on the same page as my thought process and I love it.
Some of us, myself included become intimidated with change or if things don’t go as planned. We all have to realize that some things are out of our control. That does not mean that we should just go with the flow. We have to break down the walls and barriers that interfere with what we want to accomplish. If we do not even try we will never achieve the greatness that we are all capable of.
The quote that I chose for today is me trying to show that even in the most powerful and positive words you can still find the negative, which can make you question the power of the word itself. There is no need to question it because it will always be there no matter what. The self doubt within you will try to highlight the negativity and try to talk you out of doing great things. Look in the mirror and tell yourself that You will be great, You will do great and that You will achieve greatness.
Even as I am writing this for you all today I am trying to figure out for myself what will my greatness be and what great thing will I do today. Make everyday great because we are lucky to be alive, so make today, tomorrow and everyday count. You want to leave a legacy and tell a story in your life that can inspire at least one person. That will help change that one persons life and start a cycle of uplifting and empowering people. We need more of that than anything and I know that we can do it. So go out and break down that wall my Beauties of Greatness.
This is a question that seems to come up a lot. We all have said it once,at the least, all for different reasons of course. I ask this question the most when things are not going the way I wanted or expected. “LIFE IS A STRUGGLE” was always my answer that I came up with. Then I happened to stumble across the quote above and started thinking. I realized that it was perfectly correct. Life is not only the bad times where you start to question your purpose, but it is also the good times that you wish would last forever.
I choose this topic today because I asked this question today to my fiance and he gave me the same answer that I usually say and gave me a kiss on my forehead (the most loving place to give a girl a kiss by the way.) I laughed because he gave me the same answer that I usually give him. Then my brain starts working and I’m thinking about all of my goals that I have planned long and short term. Trying to see how much closer I have gotten to them. We need to look back at how far we have come. No matter if we have taken half of a step or 10 steps. any type of progress is good. I know that I am a working progress and most of us are, improvement is good as long as you are doing it for the right reasons. I just want all of us to ENJOY life, even the tough times because usually they are just to help make you stronger and set you up for something better.
I just wanted to give you all a short inspirational piece to read. I know that life can be hard sometimes and we want to give up, but DON’T give up. You have the strength to push forward for greatness. We are all fully capable of being great because we all have our own perception of what great is to us. Also, what you think is greatness for you now might not be what is greatness to you later in life. It might change with your goals and as you surpass them the level of greatness that you can reach will grow with you. Growth is the key to life and your greatness that you will achieve. I believe in you all, MY CONFIDENT RAVING BEAUTIES. ❤
